2. Rollneck Jumper (also available in Cream, Burgundy, Navy Blue and Olive Green) - Mango/ASOS (£9.99)
3. Jumper With Embroidered Eyes and Detachable Collar - ASOS (£22)
4. White Fluffy Teddy Jumper -  New Look @ ASOS (£22.99)
5. Longline Cardigan In Brushed Mohair With Floral Pattern -ASOS (£48)

With winter fast approaching (the temptation to make a Game of Thrones reference there was almost too much), I thought it would be a nice idea to share with you a few of the knitwear items I've been looking at and considering investing in for the colder months. There are obviously loads of other, more pricey pieces that I'd love to purchase, but for now I thought I'd better share with you things I'm more likely to be able to afford. I find shopping for knitwear really difficult for some odd reason, and every year I have to spend hours trawling through pages and pages to find about three passable jumpers.
This year I've been loving roll necks and long line cardigans, and I absolutely love this look from Urban Outfitters. It's so simple but so chic in a really casual and effortless way - I need one of these cardigans!

Do you love or hate winter clothes shopping?

OUTFIT OF THE DAY: ALMOST ALL BLACK EVERYTHANG

DENIM JACKET: URBAN OUTFITTERS
ASOS BLACK CROP TOP WITH LONG SLEEVES AND TURTLE NECK - ASOS (£12)
BLACK HIGH WAISTED RIPPED JEANS: TOPSHOP (£36) (RIPS DIY)
BLACK ZIP FRONT BLOCK HEEL ANKLE BOOTS: RIVER ISLAND (£40.00)
BLACK HAIR SCRUNCHIE: TESCO

Hi everyone! I'm sorry that all I've been doing recently are sporadic outfit posts, but I've been so busy with freshers' week and settling in to life at university that I'm impressed I've managed to drag myself out of bed to do this at all! This is just a really simple outfit featuring my favourite boots and jeans combo of the moment (as you've probably noticed!) Something like this is so easy to throw on but still looks pretty well put together - you can never ever go wrong with all black no matter how hungover you are. (Plus apparently it's slimming so you can attempt to hide the 157 doner kebabs you've consumed over freshers.) I'm so happy it's finally time to get the jackets and turtle necks back out again! Autumn/Winter is great for layering so I can't wait to experiment with different jackets and start buying a load more jumpers!

How are you all?

OUTFIT OF THE DAY: CLARKS GRIFFIN MABEL SHOES

COOPERATIVE CONTRAST COLLAR PAISLEY DRESS - URBAN OUTFITTERS
CLARKS GRIFFIN MABEL IN BLACK LEATHER - CLARKS  (£49.99)
LACE TRIM ANKLE SOCKS - TOPSHOP (£3.50 OR 3 FOR £8)
BLACK HAIR SCRUNCHIE - TESCO
 CLUBMASTER GLASSES - RAYBAN OPTICS

Hey everyone! Once again I apologise for the quality of this blog post, I have literally just moved into my new university accommodation and so have hardly had time to think! If I'm a bit MIA this week then that's why, but I am determined to continue posting regularly.  Taking these photos was really rushed and awkward (hence the fact they are completely out of focus) but once I've settled I'm sure the quality will go back up again. Today I thought I'd do a quick outfit of the day featuring what I wore on the day I moved in (keeping it relevant!) I've had this dress from Urban Outfitters for about a year now and it's still a firm staple in my wardrobe. I love everything about it - the collar, the print and the way it fits (it hangs in a really flattering way and  hides all of the food babies.) I've paired it here with my new Griffin Mabel shoes from Clarks which I featured in my Autumn/Winter shoe haul a few weeks ago. With my glasses, a scrunchie and  frilly socks I just think I might be taking the "cute" and "vintage" thing a bit too far, but who cares.

Have any of you just started at university?
